Reading now in one
of my favorite books
in the Bible.
Revelation 1:3 says,
"Blessed is the one
who reads aloud
the words of this prophecy..."
I love these verses ...
Then I looked, and I heard around the throne
and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels,
numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands,
saying with a loud voice,
And I heard every creature
in heaven and on earth
and under the earth
and in the sea,
and all that is in them, saying,
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
And the four living creatures said, “Amen!”
and the elders fell down and worshiped.
to finally be at His feet,
worshiping Him.
worshiping Him.
They stir up thoughts
of what it will be like
of what it will be like
to finally see Him ... high and lifted up.
Which brings to mind the lovely song,
"I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me.
I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk
By your side
I can only imagine
What my eyes will see
When your face
Is before me
I can only imagine
[Chorus:]
Surrounded by Your glory,
what will my heart feel
Will I dance for you Jesus
or in awe of you be still
Will I stand in your presence
or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah,
will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine
When that day comes
And I find myself
Standing in the Son
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever
Forever worship You
I can only imagine
[Chorus]
I can only imagine [x2]
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever, forever worship you!
Love my life here ... but can't wait to be forever
with the One who loved me and gave Himself for me!!!
Love my life here ... but can't wait to be forever
with the One who loved me and gave Himself for me!!!

I've been thinking about reading Rev. next! ;-)
Just reading on Issac Watts 1st hymn he wrote, 'Behold the Glories of the Lamb' based on Rev. 5. After a heated discussion with his father over not singing Hymns like Martin Luther followers, only scripture allowed, his dad encouraged him and this hymn followed..
